F9F-8 "Cougar"
This beauty was first flown in 1951. It was a newer version of the Panther, mainly adding new swept wings. This plane was also nicknamed the "Kitty Hawk"
Built by the USAF as a light multirole fighter, it was used very small compared to dedicated fighters and bombers. However, it could sustain more g's than any other plane of its time (7.5 to be exact). It also was decently fast with 705 mph of speed at 50,000 feet. With my replica, I managed 610 mph in a dive.
Equipped with 4 AN/M3 20mm autocannons (190 rounds each) on the nose, 4 AIM-9b sidewinders (thanks to @mikoyanster), and 1 1,000 pound bomb. Also has detachable external tanks.
Controls:
AG1 = Activates the jet
AG2 = Activates the arresting hook
AG3 = Drop tanks
Trim = Flaps & Trim

As always, I hope you enjoy!

Darn it! The cockpit is waaaayyy too far backwards
I pretty much mixed a few of the blueprints I found together. Supposed to be the Navy version, sorry I didn't add the folding wings.
Also, no decals XD
I still hope you enjoy! I am noticing that I am beginning to like replicas now...
