Introduce

The FC-1 fighter jet (English: FC-1/JF-17 fighter aircraft; Chinese code: Xiaolong; Pakistan code: JF-17, nickname: Thunder; initially known as Chao-7) was jointly invested by China and Pakistan in the late 1990s. It is a subsidiary of China Aviation Industry Group Co., Ltd., Chengdu Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., and Chengdu Aircraft Design and Research Institute The third generation all-weather, single engine, and advanced multi-purpose light fighter jet jointly developed by China Aviation Technology Import and Export Corporation and other units, with the participation of the Pakistan Air Force.

The FC-1 fighter jet has outstanding maneuverability in mid to low altitude and high subsonic maneuvers, large range, combat radius, and long dwell time, excellent short range takeoff and landing characteristics, and strong weapon loading capabilities.
