The Dornier Do 31 is an experimental vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) jet-propelled transport designed and produced by West German aircraft manufacturer Dornier. The development of the Do 31 was motivated principally by heavy interest expressed by the German Air Force in the acquisition of short take-off and vertical landing aircraft (STOVL)-capable aircraft. Only 3 prototypes were build, no production. First flight was in February 1967, Project cancelled in 1970.

1. For easy flying as a normal plane - Just use VTOL as throttle. VTOL up and go. EASY!
(Don't touch the throttle)
2. For those Experienced pilots
Takeoff Vertically:
1) Engine Throttle at 100%
2) once it jump, push the VTOL to Maximum -
Landing with VTOL
1) Keep Engine Throttle at 100% (DO NOT REDUCE)
2) VTOL to negative - which will do ENGINE REVERSE, will reduce the speed dramatically and hover at slow speed
3) VTOL to ZERO (engine thrust 90 degree to surface) and land vertically
4) once it touches the runway, reduce throttles to ZERO immediately

@CalabooseCal No, I haven't continued with this project. I am going to add the flight cabin, VR staff, and new tech to improve the flight characteristics. Also, to be able to hover more easily.

@BlitzIsAwesome101 VTOL are not as easy as normal planes. You need some practice. But helicopters are much harder to learn. Once you get it, you will love it

@BlitzIsAwesome101 making thrust at the center is theoritically right. But I have more engines on this. So it will not show a "true center" - it's complex to explain
@WinsWings , I've Been Playing For 2.5 Years...And I Still Cant Get The Hang Of How To Make Things Even But Still Look Awesome. And, Why Cant This Craft Fly?? VTOL Doesn't Work I Tried Fixing It But It Has Too Much Weight In The Front, If You Wanted A VTOL Craft Try Making It Centered Weight And Thrust Even, And The Wing Balence Towards The Bottom...And Look At My Craft Made From Your 100K Subs Prop Engine!!

I TRIED To Make Something Close To This, It Looked Like A Child Drew It And Tried Making It Fly...It Did But, It Just Looked Ugly AF. I Dont Really Know How To Make Things Look Realistic...
