USS Texas SSN 775
The Virginia class, also known as the SSN-774 class, is a class of nuclear-powered fast attack submarines (hull classification symbol SSN) in service with the United States Navy. The submarines are designed for a broad spectrum of open-ocean and littoral missions. They were conceived as a less expensive alternative to the Seawolf-class attack submarines, designed during the Cold War era, and they are planned to replace the older of the Los Angeles-class submarine, twenty-one of which have already been decommissioned (from a total of 62 built). The class was developed under the codename Centurion, renamed to NSSN (New SSN) later on.The "Centurion Study" was initiated in February 1991. Virginia-class submarines will be acquired through 2043, and are expected to remain in service past 2060. Based on recent updates to the designs, some of the Virginia-class submarines are expected to still be in service in 2070. They are built by the General Dynamics Boat Newport News Ship Building and Drydock Company. They cost an Enormous 2.644 billion apiece. The First one was commissioned in 2004.They plan to build 48 of these awesome machines. They displace 7,900 metric tons, they are 377 ft long and 34 ft wide. They have a top speed of 30-35 Knots. They have a maximum diving depth well beyond 800FT. They are armed with 4 533mm Torpedo tubes and 12 VLS tomahawk Missile tubes. They typically carry an assortment of 27 of these weapons. Their Range is only limited by food, Their S9G Reactor can provide unlimited range. This submarine also features advanced Sonar and surveillance equipment.
My version has a top speed of 41MPH on the surface and 35 submerged.
To control First start by releasing sub from dock(AG 1) (AG2-6 do nothing) Diving is controlled by using pitch keys and to steer use the yaw keys. The Vtol Slider does nothing. Maximum Safe diving depth is 1,200 Ft but you have to go way out first.
Special thanks to WalrusAircraft For that amazing propellor.
Enjoy!:)
