#Design

In response to the growing threat of UIIS, (A terrorist group based in Snowstone; Unhappy Individuals In Snowstone.) The Krakabloa-Wright Union hired SAco. to design a lightweight STOL Utility aircraft. This aircraft should have good defences, but not many weapons, for sake of weight, and because they need not start a war yet. SAco. set to work right away and produced this aircraft. The test pilots were instructed to push the aircraft to its limits, and the plane behaved wonderfully. Because of this, the project was given the slogan, "Best at what others' can't do."

#Service

Ten were originally sold to KSU and held a millitary presence in snowstorm until the UIIS shot down a civillian cargo aircraft, which sparked war between the two sides. At the start of the war, twenty were produced, and more to come. Later versions were equipped with missiles, and bombs to help fight.

#Weapons/Defences.

The S-17 only has one gatling gun in the nose, and plenty of flares.
However, later versions, such as the SP-17 have up to five missles, two Boom 50s and six guns. This version is meant only for patrol, and transport.

#Best at what others' can't do.

The S-17 can do it if the pilot can. Take off from the Tiny, check. Land on the Beast, Check. Land on the mouth of Krakabloa, done!

#Controls

Act 1-4, are the lights. For landing, move the VTOL lever all the way down for full flaps, and the trim all the way up, while maintaining 30% throttle. The glide slope can be deceptive, so use throttle until your wheels are on the ground.
