Harigold MacFrankson was a genius!
Which is why the Giant Golden Space Krill was lucky to "Adopt" him.
During the Montage there was a scene that was mostly "left on the cutting room floor", but it featured this plane and was so popular that it is being released as part of the Blu-ray Box-set!

The AGO C.II Bomber was a perfect craft for it's time, but the Krill shot down the idea, as he was after a Fighter.
So the Bomber sat languishing in a barn until your maiden voyage.

Throttle up and wait for the back wheels to lift slightly (at about 66 mph) and the pitch back or trim down and enjoy the ride.

Use the plane's momentum to toss the bombs at your target from up close. (NOT TOO CLOSE! Shock wave and all.)

Water landing and takeoff capable due to the Krill's Superior understanding of Aquatics.
