Once known as SMS rundlich of the Imperial German navy and the republic of china's ROCS hu tao after WWII the Chinese had sold the ship to the republic of the Philippines which is now known as Epifañio Delos santos.

HISTORY
1946- One year after WW2 the Chinese civil war rages on as communist successfully took over mainland china the rest of the Nationalist leaders secretly board the battleship Hu Tao and set sail to formosa islands (now modern Taiwan)

1970's- With military aid coming from the US the taiwanese government modernize it's naval fleet starting with the aging battleship Hu Tao she's fitted with 2x Hawk SR ATA missiles and 2x ASTRA SLCM Box launchers and 8x CIWS and replaced the main guns with modern ones.

1990's- Realizing the cost of the modernization of the ship the Taiwanese government had no choice but to sell Hu Tao to the republic of the Philippines renaming it to BRP Epifañio delos santos (BB-405) and it is the most powerful ship ever added to the Philippine naval arsenal and is still remain in service to this day.
