DAC-J1A
The J1 was a WW2 plane built by DAC but used by the Japanese, as they found flight characteristics favorable. The J1, a line that eventually became heavily used, was well loved, but wasn't without issues. The early variants suffered heavily from poor handling at high speed, and lower engine power as well. The A variant especially suffered from high speed issues, typically from suddenly pulling up while in a dive, which sent the plane into a flatspin. To counteract this, the Japanese air force told their pilots to avoid diving if possible. The J1A came with 2 7.7mm machine guns(6), takeoff and landing flaps(7), and a reliable, lightweight engine(8). The top speed, however was not good, at about 300mph at altitude. The turn time, on the other hand, made up for the lack of speed.
