Sikorsky Ilya Muromets
Thanks to @EpicPigster1 for the REAF roundels! (Check him out, he makes some great WWII builds) AG1-4 for engines.
Description:
The Sikorsky Ilya Muromets (Russian: ????????? ???? ???????) (Sikorsky S-22, S-23, S-24, S-25, S-26 and S-27) are a class of Russian pre-World War I large four-engine commercial airliners and heavy military bombers used during World War I by the Russian Empire.[1] The aircraft series was named after Ilya Muromets, a hero from Slavic mythology.[2] The series was based on the Russky Vityaz or Le Grand, the world's first four-engined aircraft, designed by Igor Sikorsky.[3] The Ilya Muromets aircraft as it appeared in 1913 was a revolutionary design, intended for commercial service with its spacious fuselage incorporating a passenger saloon and washroom on board.[4] During World War I, it became the first four-engine bomber to equip a dedicated strategic bombing unit.[5] This heavy bomber was unrivaled in the early stages of the war, as the Central Powers had no aircraft capable enough to rival it until much later,[6] with the 1916-17 origin Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI, the only example of any of the Imperial German Riesenflugzeug airframe designs to be produced in any quantity during World War I.

@F4f879 OK! It's late here too, btw im thinking of starting a new line of planes, the floatplane series! Ill talk to you tmrw! :D
@EpicPigster1 awesome! I'll get started tomorrow, it's kinda late here now :) but thanks for the opportunity!
@F4f879 ok, so I just got started on the fuselage, but then I figured that using an existing platform will benefit both of us, as you will have more to do (thus learning more) and you can see an existing plane I made torn apart. So, I was thinking, why don't we make a wildcatfish (the floatplane version of the f4f-3)? Given your name is F4f879, I find it fitting. I would also have to modify the plane to some feedback I got, but it would be an awesome build! You could do the floats (a massive task to get right) and I will modify the airframe. How does it sound? You could even start now since the plane is already up on my profile! :)
Sure @EpicPigster1 Thatd be great... Lol I don't play warthunder so I didn't get the reference
@F4f879 BTW if you want I finish the fuselage so you have a base to build the tail and the floats, ill tag you in a unlisted post tommorow or maybe tonight (depending if I have time :)
@F4f879 Oh, it's a war thunder meme lol, the PO2 is the worst plane in the game by a long shot but it's name backwards is 2 OP
@EpicPigster1 I'm down for tail and floats... (I can't fine tune/XML mod so those will be easier than nose and cockpit etc) but what's 2-OP?
@F4f879 or, we could do a po-2... (2-OP!)
@F4f879 How are going to divide up the workload? Do you want to do the floats and tail section (ie. vertical stabilizer and horizantal stabilizer)?
@F4f879 OK, thank god!
@EpicPigster1 you're profile picture shows an unholy abomination (yes, a pig XD)
@F4f879 BTW Is my profile pic showing a pig?
@EpicPigster1 sure that would e great!
@F4f879 We could always do that lol, maybe a Curtiss SC Seahawk? It has folding wings and is also a floatplane, and looks cool :)
I don't know, do u have any particular favorites? Otherwise we can just look through the Wikipedia lists ;) @EpicPigster1
@F4f879 What do you want to make together?
@F4f879 OF COURSE YEAH! I would love that, this would be my first collab! We could build the same plane but make out own liveries, and link each other's planes in our own posts! That would be awesome!
@EpicPigster1 wanna do a collab? I need to learn from u how to make good WWII planes :)
Thanks @EpicPigster1! U were a big help too!
Thanks @SledDriver
WOW! This is awesome!
