This was a part of a small series of lighteeight fighters developed in case resource shortages with a similar design to Bell's P-39 Aircobra and Light Aluminum skin it was rated for 300+ mph but financial problems slowed development and by the time was ready the USAAC was looking for more heavier modern fighters
