Max speed: 685 mph at S.L., 735 mph at 35,000'. Service ceiling 45,000. Approach speed 165 mph. The brilliant designer, Dr. Mauri e Dellacouer, limited by trad embargoes, chose to use the best engine available at the time, the Blasto J50 and designed this lightweight delta-winged fighter to answer a Jundroo Air Force requirement for a highly maneuverable interceptor capable of scrambling and engaging enemy aircraft above neighboring islands. The interceptor was a success, equipping two squadrons, one at North Runway, the other at Murphy Airport.
