A Prototype (read work in progress) next generation variable geometry amphibious aircraft. In default mode it is a fast and nimble aircraft and seaplane . !
With Full VTOL up it converts into "Seaskimmer" mode, where it can skim along the surface of the water at speeds exceeding 200mph. Full VTOL down converts into "Flying Horns" for rapid climbing. If you've seen all there is of the Bat and have had enough, press AG1 and check out the MiniBat plane and amphibous craft. Level out VTOL before pressing AG1 though.
Note that while everything works, I'm still fine tuning this to get the trim and balance and bouyancy right for all four modes of the plane.

Eek, my roots are showing! I forgot all about this thing. I was built long before I know about things like gyroscopes and nudging, and this is all about hinges and detaches.
The core plane/boat isn't so bad. I could do with a redesign. Invert the forward elevators (they're what's keeping it on the ground until 400 mph). Maybe put engines where those waxy bits of fuselage are in the back, nudge the hinges close to the body, hmm...
This is neat, it looks like a sci fi fighter ship. The body seperation is neat to. This is a stylish plane.
