M.50/51 "Virtus"
History
The year is 1950, the 35 Years War is on its peak, the evoluting Obelian tank legions slowly changing it's doctrine throughout the war
As the war progress, it is clear, the huge and slow assault tanks start to lose its fangs, it's getting old and obsolete to much smaller yet more mobile tanks. The High Commands of Royal Army of Obelia realize they need to change their armored warfare doctrine. They realize much more mobile tank are cheaper and much more effective in combat that expensive, huge tank they currently develop. In 1942, the Emperor gave clear order to replace every Assault Tank with much more mobile tank, three classes were ordered, Light, Medium and Heavy to replace the supposedly multi-purpose assault tank.
Ever since the change of doctrine were made, Obelian armored legions start gaining uppor hand, thanks to abundant high quality steel and skilled workers and designer. The doctrine were simple, the tank have three classes with three different role, light to scout, medium to mid-range combat, and heavy as an assault spearhead.
But then in 1949, a tank designer Nero Licinus proposed a project, to fit all advantage of the three tank classes into one single tank with name "Multi-purpose Tank".
The project mainly focus to make tank with a power of heavy tank, size of a medium and speed of a light tank. Thus, Project 50t begun.
In 1950, the first prototype completed, it is armed with a M12/1946 105mm Rifled gun however, it is proven that the gun were obsolete against much stronger Confederation tanks, and the High Command demand a stronger gun to be developed and used.
Redesigning, mostly in the turret and inner system were made, and finally in late 1951, the second prototype completed, the new 115mm Rifled Cannon works perfectly, and it passes all the test. And that day, December 16, 1951, M.50/51 was born.
Description
M.50/51 designed by a tank designer Nero Licius in 1949 and then most part manufactured with Myria Heavy Factory while the gun manufactured by Kola Arm Industry.
It is one of the most advanced tank in the 35 Years Wars, it's low profile but deadly with it's 115mm gun. The mobility allow this tank to move quick in the battlefield. It's also pretty armored, the high quality RHA combined with slope design provide better protection for the crews and system inside.
It is still have traditional multi-turret design, however, one turret can be counted as cupola with 7.62mm machine gun for the commander to use. It's also armed with 20mm Autocannon as secondary, a rare design for a tank on it's era. Armed with powerful 115mm Rifled Cannon capable to penetrate most tanks Confederation have from long range.
The modular design allow many upgrade and field upgrades to be mounted, such as the ribbed extra armor plate on the front upper glacis to protect the driver and ammorack, and spaced armor on both gun mantlet and cheek to increase survivability against explosive based shells.
Crewed by 4 people, Driver, Commander, Loader, and Gunner, and it also offers wider space for crew comfort than cramped Confederation tanks, Increasing crew efficiency in battle, especially for loader.
However, there's one design flaw for M.50/51, most ammo stored in front, beside the driver, this increase the risk of ammorack if frontal armor penetrated by 80%, this also the reasons why extra ribbed armor plate added in most tank, to increase the armor and prevent ammorack.
But in overall, the tank was a success and manufactured until 1960 until new tank replace it, it is remain in service for most countries in Northern Continent, such as Eastern Valasia who operate 150 export version of M.50/51.

Looks like it's based off the Centurion from the font view, the turret from the side looks like a Conqueror, the hull looks like its a Chieftain but the driver view port is slapped to the side. And that huge ahh thing on the main cannon reminds me of an M60.
That doesn't look like a late 1940s-early 1950s tank, that looks like a tank designed in the late 1990s-2000s due to its design.
