Halebrand HVB-7 Boomerang

807 TyDillon13GEICO  6.2 years ago

A key weapon to the Sept Etaps air force, the Boomerang was a powerful design. The twin engined aircraft was used in multiple roles, mostly just as a large fighter. Designed in 1950 by Halebrand, tge prototyoe HVB-7 held great promise. Minor adjustments led to the removal of the turret, and the charecteristic slender fuselage shape was finished. The Boomerang was ordered in its thousands by the SEAF, but production was overlapping with other aircraft. Boomerangs first saw action over Tiber in 1953, where they were extremely effective. This one is in Battle of Tiber camouflage.
