Poyasakai DTB 140a2 Dive Bomber
Information and History
A WW2 ear dive bombber made to destroy aircraft carriers, battleships and fortified ground targets. The Karyan gorvernment sent requirments to the Poyasakai Design Group and first came up with the PTB 139, however it was greatly underpowered and could not operate from Karyan fleet carrier because of its underpowered engine. After a year of redesign the design group unveiled DTB 140, the new power plant made it 60kph faster then the predecessor and it could now could operate with Karyan fleet carriers. It was armed with heavy Semi Armor piercing(SAP) bombs and a pair of 23mm HMGs for strafing targets
During the Valestian wars
the DTB 140 dive/torpedo bomber was the primary naval attacker of Karya. The extensive armor made it hard to shoot down by fighters and heavy anti aircraft fire. However it was not perfect and had teouble landing and would ofter break the propeller, the powerplant was high maintenance was also a massive issue.
