this bad boy is the m340 plasma caster, a directed Energy Weapons system produced by titan industries, a competitor of D-45R6.

plasma caster works by Sending a liquid (stored in the bright blue canister on the right side of the weapon) into an Ionization chamber similar to how the gas injection in a car works. Once properly ionized, the liquid gets compressed in the main chamber in the front area of the weapon and launched by the triple nozzle on the front o the gun.
this plasma caster deals damage by throwing fast-moving projectiles of insanely hot plasma that quickly latch on its target and vaporize it. the first versions of the weapon were notorious for overheating, so a graphite heatshield was added and a liquid nitrogen cooling system was implemented, the liquid nitrogen is stored and pumped on the round container on the left side of the weapon.
