Tu-424 SSBJ v0.12
Somehow i have resumed the work) Made more fuselage and wings, remade landing gear, tweaked the inflight behaviour (though spoilers and flaps compensation is not working properly yet), added chutes and gyros. If anybody wants to join - be my guest.
Just to remind - this is a heavily reshaped real Tupolev project of supersonic business jet of late 90s early 2000s, never built. I made it with two vertical stabilisers and separate elevator, and added flaps

G - Landing gear;
AG2 + VTOL slider - Flaps; (0% = Flaps retracted, 100% DOWN = Flaps deployed)
AG3 + VTOL slider - Spoilers (= Airbrakes, 100% UP = Deployed, 0% = Retracted, i added a compensating mechanism to the stabiliser, but still tends to pitch up the plane a bit, than stabilize, use on approach with partial deployment (pitch compensator works between 0 and 1/2 UP, above that it pitches down to push plane to the runway) or after touch down with full deployment)
AG4 - Autopilot (Activate and set trim for ascend/descend. Can turn gently, than stabilizes
AG8 - Ground steering (sensitivity adjustment, when AG8 deactiveted - steers to the limit, when activated - steers 5 degrees) Positions - AG8 - ON on Take off/Landing, AG8 OFF for the ground movements
Take off procedure - Trim 1/2 up, flaps 1/2 down, full thrust? will take off by itself
Landing procedure - Full flaps, trim ~ 70% up, 35% thrust with full flaps at approach, 25% near the runway, approach speed 200 mph, over the runway drop thrust to 15%, deploy spoilers (AG3+ VTOL UP) if needed after touchdown. If bounced up, do not pitch down, just let it drop gently, nose down touch can be fatal).
Ascending - AG4, 90% thrust, control ascend by trim slider
Level flight - 85% thrust, trim ~5% UP. AG 4 can make a soft controllable autopilot (VTOL strictly 0%) - you can turn a bit. less

@Camroncs Thanks a lot! I will fiish this one in some time)
If you say about procedures for flying - i made it that way so it feels more real, kind of enchances experience) Check my other planes) I will soon release final versions of Tu-104 and Convair CV-880. Making a cockpit interior for a Convair now
Great.. I love this prototype..
@ShatSlanger @ChiChiWerx
Thanks a lot! It pretty much is soviet style, i think its due to soviet cockpit from tu-134, i had not changed it yet) May be i'll leave it more or less the way it is, just to show commonality with my other creations) Anyway, in the design, i wanted to blend tu-144 with su-27
Nice work. Very Soviet-y, looks like something the USSR would build because they wanted to be first, then use to haul cattle to the Far East!
