HISTORY:
The Lightning Aircraft Industries KL-65 is the first helicopter ever built by the company, it's also been said that it will be the company's only helicopter...maybe. The KL-65 is a general aviation helicopter built-in 2002 that has one seat, it could possibly fit two people, but that would be dangerous. The helicopter wasn't the newest design, but it was still reliable. It was powered by a single, LAI LX-70A piston engine, this gave it enough power for its current performance, but it wasn't that fast, only having a top speed just over 100 mph. But it could take off and land pretty much anywhere. It ended up being a very successful aircraft, with over 20,000 produced and that number is still increasing at the KL-65 is still in production
CONTROLS:
AG-1: Activate engine
AG-2: Landing Light
AG-3: Strobe light
AG-4: Beacon and Naviagation lights
VTOL-UP: Increase collective
TAKEOFF, FLIGHT AND LANDING:
For takeoff, Activate AG-1, throttle up to 100% and slowly increase the collective (VTOL-up), when the VTOL slider reaches halfway, the aircraft will start to lift off. When you have achieved liftoff, the pedals will have to be used to righten the aircraft.
When in flight, adjust the collective until you find the sweet spot and more or less aren't gaining or losing altitude. when turning, it's most effective to use the pedals to yaw the helicopter, but you can bank the helicopter to turn. Doing this will require you to lead with yaw and use pitch to maintain altitude.
For landing, use the collective to slowly lose altitude while approaching your landing spot, then just before you reach your landing spot, raise the nose past the horizon to slow down, adjusting the collective. you should then be able to touch down safely

CREATOR NOTES:
Yes, I did use a gyro that is activated by AG-1. It's much harder to control the KL-65 without the gryo.
I don't have any special mentions.
The black panels on the sides of the fuselage is meant to be the registration number

@Dinoairplanes
I'm coming?
Or do you mean something else?
@ND40X is coming!
@methirasoysa123
no offense, but dude, GRAMMER!
Yeah sortve @ND40X
@Diloph
realistic?
@ND40X I like the gyro but I like the heli feel more...
@Diloph
Personally, it rolls and pitches just a bit too much without the gyro for my liking
@ND40X I destroyed that gyro completely and it flies fine XD?
@Diloph
It's not like I want to use a gyro, it's just really hard to control this helicopter without the gryo. but you can fix that if you want
another gyro heli ugh awesome looks tho man!
Interesting helicopter
@Mustang51
Thanks. This is actually the second interpretation of the KL-65, the first one was just crap
Whoa! This is a magnificent build! The controls are wonderful and the cockpit looks great too. Very nicely done
