Just playing around with my fictional Rolls Royce Raptor 6000 hp aero engine...
Wondered how fast a twin would be, since my Supermarine Salamander was pretty rapid. Turns out that it goes a fair bit faster with two engines...
I played around for ages with custom gear but to be honest without the ability to turn off clipping and modify the weight of the parts it was beginning to look like a set of landing gear with an aeroplane coincidentally perched on top. I might upload that monstrosity later...
But for now, please enjoy the Supermarine Spectre FB.1
A fictional early 1950's heavy fighter bomber (think Douglas A-20 in Korea type of thing).
She will do 500 mph in the weeds with a full bomb load and external stores. Higher up and clean she will break the sound barrier.
In flight she is very neutral and quite vise free. A bit of a pain in the nether regions to trim, but still very aerobatic.
The controls are thus;
Ag1-empty bomb bay.
Ag2-vtol down drop landing flaps.
Ag3-vtol down open bomb bay.
Ag6 lights.
Landing is very easy - just throttle to around 15%, trim nose full up and control speed and sink rate with the flaps.
Have fun!

Thanks! @Tang0five that was sort of the plan. Im working on a navalised one too, but it is proving a bit difficult...
If I were to feed a de haviland mosquito steroids, this is what I imagine it would be like, awesome!
