Repair damage in-game!
A battlefield engineer equipped with a welding torch, which you can use to repair damaged parts in-game!
AG 3— detaches and activates engineer
Camera 1— Orbit view
Camera 2— First-person view
Engineer Movement
—Standard pitch/roll/yaw controls apply.
—For delicate maneuvers, use pitch to shuffle the engineer along the ground.
—For faster movement, activate brakes. This will extend two pistons in the engineer's legs, giving much greater movement speed.
To repair parts, just go into camera 2, aim/fire the torch at the damaged part, and wait for the damage indicator to turn a blue-ish color.
How it works: Inside the welding torch is a gun, which has been XML modded to do negative damage.
Feel free to save as a subassembly and use with your own creations!

@CaesarSeizer, thanks
@CrazyCatZe Alright, I’ll see what I can do
@CaesarSeizer, the gun
@CrazyCatZe When you say smaller, are you referring to the bullet size or the gun itself?
@CaesarSeizer, a Green color where nice..... and if it where a bit smaler....
@CrazyCatZe Any preference for RoF, tracer color, or velocity?
Please do this on a normal mini gun!
@Roswell Yeah I have experimented with it by seeing if it really repairs compared to just restores Health. I Think it was a fuel block or something I tried on to see if firetruks would work, they don't. Restoring the Health didn't repair the part only heal it.
Too bad. :(
I'm glad to see that people are still exploring this concept
Cool! would be nice in mp
The way I fly I should hire this guy
Nice sly XML work, I'm probably going to use tiny versions of the plasma flame to heal bull bars and things of that nature that take a beating often.
