AH-12 Fenrir

(I'm back from a 2 year break, sheesh)

The AH-12 is a light attack helicopter, armed with 4 AGM-114 Hellfires, 2 20mm autocannons, 2 50mm cannons and 2 wingip mounted "Popper" anti air missiles.

It features a working alarm system for the rotor overspeeding (the throttle/collective are ALL manual). It might be REALLY hard to fly, but it's possible. It also has a targeting camera on the front, and a pretty nice cockpit (I'm proud of it). Really fun to fly with a joystick. The camera also slightly wiggles under pressure. Neat.

Quick cockpit rundown

1: Brake
2: Pitch/Roll
3: Weapon arm. Bottom is missiles, middle is cannon, top is autocannon.
4: Collective
5: Throttle
6: Everything else weapon. Left red button is jettisoning, right one is testing mode for your laser marker
7: Your ammo counters
8: Radar (thank you striderXXL)
9: Fake engine parameters (look nice)
10: Altitude ball
11: Fake radio console
12: Some switches for starting up. Nice for fidgeting.

Quick weapon briefing

AGM-114:
The classic "Hellfire". You get 4 of those, nothing special. Boom-booms the ground meanies.

AIM-29: the "Popper". The name comes from the sound it makes when hitting something. Very light anti air missile, with a max range of 4km and a hilariously low explosive mass. There are reports of aircraft surviving a direct hit from those, but it's better than nothing.

M102 Autocannon: 20mm. What else is there to say? Shreds enemy units like it's nothing. Can run outta ammo though.

M42 Cannon: It's tempting me to call it a howitizer, though it isn't even close to one. If the 20mm is not overkill enough for you, it's your best bet.

Sorry for bad picture quality. Have fun flying!
