A model of the M61 Vulcan Autocannon. The gun was first designed in 1946 and firsted used in the F-105 thunderchief, it is a very sucessful platform being used in such aircraft as the F/A-18 Hornet/Super hornet, F-16 Viper, F-14 Tomcat and the F-15 Eagle. It fires 20mm bullets and has a fire rate of up to 6,000 RPM (rounds per minute) which is equivalent to 100 rounds per second.
