Auto Credit Based on mikoyanster's 50s Cold War Challenge [CANCELLED]
My entry into the 50s Cold War challenge; the Gloster Javelin.1) introduced in 1956 after a lengthy development period (a particular feature of the MOD) the Gloster Javelin was the last aircraft to bear the Gloster name.2) Just for aesthetics unfortunately. I recommend avoiding erratic manoeuvres at low level/speed. As with the Javelin there's a tendency to enter a flat tail spin not even chuck Yeager himself could recover from. Seriously, they even installed an anti-spin parachute.....Not the fastest I'm sure but lands nicely with wide tricycle gear and has speed breaks to rapidly lose speed. AG1 to release attached tanks.
