History
The SG Aircrafts B-Line was a line of jet aircraft built from 1998 to 2014. The aircraft featured mesmerizing landing gear, the first of its kind.
The manufacturer sold more than 1.4 million units to private individuals and companies, and over 2.8 million to the Snowstone Aerial Defense Division.
Sadly, the plane was discontinued due to high manufacturing costs and low reliability.
The rear landing gear was prone to failure and had a 43% failure rate.
SG Aircrafts prided themselves on quality and reliability, and this aircraft damaged their reputation. Most buyers replaced the rear landing gear with regular hydraulics and motors rather than the complex and costly rotating gear setup.
