DEVELOPMENT

This craft was originally from my Android phone and spun off from the "Kingfisher-Magpie" project that started in 2022, my attempt to expand my tinkering of PantheraShojii's Chimney Swift MK.II, with the goal being to create more original craft, specifically hypothetical, cheap stealthy flying wing fighters. The Shoebill being the partially successful result of these projects.

Come 2023, I came across articles and mentions of a "fifth-generation minus" fighter concept, which spurred me into attempting my own interpretation of a cheap, semi-stealthy F-16 replacement, starting with the aforementioned "Magpie" project which steadily evolved away from the flying wing design into a V-tailed F-35-like fighter, but had spiraled into two years filled with many attempts, many near-successes as there were many failures, evolving from "Combat Crow" to "Clashing Crow" and finally all the way to the current "Project Corvidae" iteration that I ended up shelving in 2024.

Until now. Once I got a new laptop in late 2024 for university multimedia work, my first Windows machine since 2017, I got to work catching up since replacing my reliable but lacking Chromebook. As this is the new year of 2025 and having tinkered further with the F-19 on my new laptop, even creating the loadouts down below, I figured "Screw it" and I have decided to share this troubled, imperfect craft for all of you to play around with.

BACKSTORY

A prototype, low-cost fifth-generation "minus" trainer-and-light-fighter intended as a cheap replacement for older F-16s while providing a minimally adequate alternative for customers who could not afford more capable stealth aircraft like the F-35.

CONTROLS

• Throttle 91-100% - Toggle Afterburner
• Activate 1 - Deactivate/Reactivate weapons
• Activate 2 - Deactivate/Reactivate M61 Vulcan
• Activate 3 - Eject all weapons (IMPORTANT NOTE(S) IN INSTRUCTIONS)
• Activate 4 - Drop external tanks (CAP loadouts only)

• HUD by dhtv587
• Recommend using mouse/joystick control. Somewhat very wobbly in terms of movement, so I advise caution and not to pull too hard due to roll not working too well at full pitch.
• Still be cautious spawning another Crow while playing as one if on lower end devices.
