According to the "lease act", the United States will provide a large amount of foreign aid to P-40 fighters, with a total of 5492, of which 2799 are allocated to Britain, 2069 to the Soviet Union and only a small number of 377 to China. The P-40 obtained by the Chinese air force includes four types e, K, m and N, of which the N type is the most, up to 299. At the beginning of 1942, the fourth brigade of the Chinese air force first obtained 27 E-type aircraft. By October, all units had been equipped with E-type or K-type aircraft one by one. Only the fourth brigade was equipped with a small number of p-43a "gun cavalry", and the P-40 became the absolute main force in the fighter sequence of the Chinese air force.
