Area 88 challenge - results here - Live updates!
I just found out that the challenge was continued. It turned 12:00 a little bit ago which means it’s the 4th :/
(Sighs)
@RussianAS You can participate with a plane with more parts, no problem ;-)
@ mikoyanster
Hello!
Could you raise the part limit to 850? since I am preparing for you, well, not a very ordinary plane, which unfortunately has already taken 400, and another 350 will go for other details and custom weapons.
Well, 750 is just not enough
@Shippy456
I get your point. One of the main disadvantages I see is it just adds to entries that miko has to judge, which takes him even longer
One: Understandable. Two: Thank you!
Three: I’m just worried that people will exploit this and post more and more creations past the due date, therefore decrementing my already slim chances. @TMach5
@Shippy456 Processing 90 Planes takes a while. To Miko's credit, he doesn't drop poor flying planes, he does his best to make every post fly well. That takes a lot of time. Out of the 90 posts, I think only 1/3 are air worthy. BTW your XF-32 flies great.
Almost a month past the original due date...
I just realized that it wasn’t a successor here’s the link to it If I don’t fix it in time https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/Hd1Xui/F-47
I hope I made it in time I spent so much time perfecting my first entry I didn’t have any time to complete the second
I'll probably have an entry up soon if we still have a couple more hours. Just need to tweak the paint scheme.
@mikoyanster
Hey I just wanted to let you know that my entry might get delayed by 1 or 2 days after the challenge. I'm really really close to finishing it but there's still a few things I need to add and fix.
@mikoyanster
I've uploaded my entry, it's called: Lightning Aircraft Industries GR-2 Nebula
I will be uploading my entry soon
My habit of not completing challenge entries is getting ridiculous. I'm at literally half of the minimum part count and the paint job looks like it was made by a drunken baboon in a mud pit
@mikoyanster umm... :D I realized that i forgot to disable VTOL action from my custom engine so please, do not touch VTOL at all when testing my Aegis R-1
@mikoyanster
Would it be ok if I involve my entry is an event that took place after the 1980's?
(My entry is made in 1985, but I want it to be involved in something like the Gulf War to explain the desert camo)
I'm almost ready to start writing my entry's description :3
Well, I’m in!
@Shippy456
it's the nose gear that turns, not the wheels
Turn turning on in the gear settings. Increase sensitivity And the turning angle to the max. Add rudders. @ND40X
Anyone have any idea on how to get my aircraft to turn better on the ground?
It does have two nose gears btw
@Shippy456
ok, dunno why you tagged me in that though...
Idk if imma post a second jet. Perhaps one of my prototypes. @ND40X
