Nordan NA-3 Lark
Finally! I finished my first twin-engined fighter, the Nordan NA-3 Lark! This actually took about 1 week for me to do but I had finals to do for school (end of 1st semester) and had no time to work on the Lark. But, here it is, my most detailed fighter to date!
FEATURES:

Build Timeline/Process From the White Bliss to the Lark Design
Control Layout
Highly Detailed Cockpit
.50 Cal and 20mm Bullet Casings Are Ejected
Accurate and Mostly Realistic Reflective Gunsight
Gifs are black & white since it's a WW2 design/setting.
OPERATIONS:
AG-1 = Arm 6x .50 Cal Guns
AG-2 = Arm 2x 20mm Cannons
AG-3 = ---
AG-4 = ---
AG-5 = ---
AG-6 = ---
AG-7 = Landing Lights
AG-8 = Nav, Beacon, and Strobe Lights
Trim = Trim
VTOL = Constant Speed Props (Manual Control; VTOL down for max power)
Throttle = Throttle/Power
ARMORMENT:
6x M2 Browning .50 Cal. Machine Guns, 1,500-2,000 rounds each.
2x Hispano 20mm Cannons, 200 rounds each.
4x Small Diameter Bombs (you can remove these for Air-to-Air missions/engagements)
NOTES/TIPS:
-Top Speed is around 320-340mph-ish (can go faster in a dive, or at high altitude with bomb racks removed
-If you fire the guns too long, they will run dry of bullets and it takes 20 seconds to reload the .50 cals while it takes 30 seconds to reload the 20mm cannons.
-The Gunsight is desighned to be used along with the default SP gun reticle. However it will work just fine without the SP reticle and is pretty darn accurate.
-This airplane is nearly prop-strike proof thanks to the landing gear's far-forward position.
BACK STORY:
Nordan NA-3 Lark, first flown in 1937.
The NA-2 Swallow was a success at being a low-cost dogfighter for Pavelania and it's allies, but Nordan thought they could do better. So, with their own funding, Nordan assigned it's engineers the task to develop the White Bliss design into a twin-engine dogfighter. This new fighter would have to have the speed, firepower, and reliability of at twin-engined heavy fighter while having the simplicity, affordability, and nimbliness/manueverability of a light-weight dogfighter. This fighter would also be powered by Nordan's own, 1,500hp V8 AeroHorse engines. The designers and engineers used the NA-2 as a benchmark for the new fighter's design. However as they began the refine the design and perfect it via wind tunnel testing, the new fighter looked less and less like the NA-2, and became a completely new design. The new fighter would be designated as the NA-3 Lark. The NA-3 Lark would be constructed out of aluminum being Nordan's first design to be made all-metal.
When Nordan completed the first Lark prototype, and presented it to the PAF, they were very impressed by the new little fighter. The PAF then issued Nordan a contract to mass-produce the Lark for Pavelania and for their allies. The NA-3 would become a huge success not only for Nordan but for the war effort. Allies loved the NA-3's deadly combination of firepower, simplicity, affordability, and manueverability. The NA-3 became Nordan's best-selling design at the time and effectively replaced the NA-2 in the role as the main export fighter to the allies, but the NA-2 still enjoyed sales because of how affordable it was. The NA-3 though was just a flat out better fighter, and beat the NA-2 at all aspects, hence the success. The NA-3 Lark gained many nicknames by the allies such as "Grunt", "Parrot", "Tasmanian Devil", and most popularly "Scooter". To the enemy however, the Lark was widely nicknamed "Little Devil" for it's small size, maneuverability, and heavy firepower.
Nevetheless, Nordan has made their presence to the aviation world and has cemented themselves as Pavelania's premier fighter-maker, knocking PAC out of the spot as the best fighter-maker. From their, PAC mainly recieved bomber, transport, and heavy fighter contracts while Nordan would recieve majority of the fighter contracts (smaller company, smaller production facilities).
The NA-3 Lark would be produced from 1937 well into the 1940's until 1948 when fighter production ceased due to the design becoming osbolute, but Nordan would still produce it as a civilian sports plane. The NA-3 also became Pavelania's first twin-engine fighter design.
After a bit of delay, this plane is finally finished! I'm very happy with this design, especially since I built this up from a scaled down mock-up concept. The NA-3 Lark's basic layout was inspired by the Grumman XF5F SkyRocket.
Also here is an AI Opponent variant for you to dogfight against.
Hope you all enjoy this and Happy Flying! :)

Thanks!
@jamesPLANESii
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
(Just download this) it is absolutely amazing. I feel as though I’m actually in a WWII aircraft.
@VerySaltySniper
Thanks!
I'm excited to see both of those @JohnnyBoythePilot
@Mustang51
Thanks, I think your the 600th person to download this. I made a photo recon variant but I haven't uploaded it yet. I also just finished a new fighter design too. I'll be uploading both probably on the weekend before Spring Break.
Well, I'll be damned! This thing is amazing. Great job man!

That's the White Bliss. Here it is.

@Minecraftpoweer
Which one? The White Bliss (1st picture) or the proof-of-concept? (2nd picture)
@JohnnyBoythePilot I liked the one in the first stage of building so if you could get that back it would be cool :)

Oh I can image. "What a noob this isn't an F-15 Eagle!" 😂 That makes much more sense to rename it the RF-61.
@JohnnyBoythePilot Things got pretty messy in the late 40's, they had been developing so many new planes for so long it got to be a real chore just figuring out what was what. Eventually they re-renamed it the RF-61C, which makes more sense. Can you imagine all the "clickbait hate" if I posted a propeller plane as "the F-15" ? HA!
@F104Deathtrap
Oh yea the Widow is a beautiful airplane. I've heard of the reporter before. What a sleek looking plane! Strange how they gave a recon airplane the designation "F" (F-15 Reporter).
@JohnnyBoythePilot Yeah, the Widow is a favorite of mine. There was a stripped down, highspeed photo-recon version called the Reporter. Sleek and gorgeous, maybe I'll make something like that only with radar and a few 20mm cannons.
@F104Deathtrap
If your going to do a replica, check out the P-61 Blackwidow or the F7F-3N Tigercat. Or look at some of the German night fighters. I've actually had a night fighter in development for over a month, dubbed the P8 (PAC design) but I put it on hold to work on some Nordan designs. I'm working on one more Nordan design before I resume work on my night fighter. My current aircraft I'm working on is the NA-4 Storm Petrel, a competitor to PAC's P6 Merlin fighter.
