History: In 2015, Aerostyle Aviation (who was on the brink of bankruptcy) was assigned to build a spaceplane to take pilots to the next level of reconnaissance. They completed the first flight-ready prototype in 2020, with the first test flight occurring a few days later. The flight was a complete success and Aerostyle relieved funding from NASA as well as the ESA to continue the project.
