 With the lessons learned from the Type 230 fighters, Poyasakai in the year 2033 reworked the entire airframe and an updated engine. The Cloud Breaker also was built in a similar basis but has improved manueverability, higher altitude capabilities and now made to take control of skies. 
  The biggest drawback is the landing gear and lack of armor. The landing gear is not as stable as its predecessor and could break easily if the landing aproach was higher than 300kph, the lack of flaps makes landing harder. The second drawback is the lack of armor, the light weight of this fighter is because the armor plating was not added, however this is not as crucial because it is intended to only dogfight at close quarters situtaion and is meant for BVR fights.

SM-99C

The SM-99c is the AAM meant for long range with ranges up to 50km it can go BVR, it has a quick lock system and it can change targets while and could re-lock after an opponent used its counter measure systsems
