Backstory:
2107 A.D.

The LD-I-F-3 was an experimental fighter built by VerTech to test out hypersonic flight and dogfighting. LD-I-F-3 stands for Long Distance (LD) Interstellar (I) Fighter (F) Version 3 (3). It ended up working greatly, and they produced it for the military. It is powered with completely clean energy, derived from an extremely rare material mined from asteroids in space. The energy was named Acacion, which is derived from the Greek name "Acacius" (??a????). The energy is super powerful, and it powers the guns and engines. The guns are extremely powerful, and can be extremely deadly if they are used correctly. The energy is SO powerful, that they have to limit it on the engines, otherwise on takeoff, the pilots would experience 100's of G's, squashing their body. But, back to the topic of how successful it was, they produced it for the military. The never actually used it in wars, because of how dangerous and destructive it could be, but nevertheless, the LD-I-F-3 was a great advance in avionics for VerTech and the U.S. Military, and helped them travel into space.
