After the AH-36 Orca was canceled in favor for projects like the Air Force A-10 Warthog and the Marine Corps AV-5B Heron, The Adretian Army found itself with an absolute fossil of a helicopter, the AH-1 Cobra. While they could upgrade it, you could only do that so many times. So a contract was given out to Hughes Helicopters to create a new attack helicopter for the Adretian Army. The first helicopters were produced in 1975 under the designation AH-44 "Marlin". The helicopter still serves the Adretian Army to this day.
Built for the War Challenge United: Season 7
