A successor of the previous T-61 (P). It now has thicker armor, a better gun, a better suspension and a better engine. At the turret, it has six bolt-on armor and another useful log.

-Design-
The design has been changed, especially the turret. The turret now has an optional Bolt-on armor and the rear of the turret is now partially angled. The cupolas had a redesign and the hull is now a bit taller. The hull also has extra welded armor in the front and the track guards were changed.

-Name-
It is named after the city of Omsk where the Aurun-Belkan rebels' Main Stronghold is located.

-Reliability-
As stated in the T-61 (P) -
Unlike any other Soviet Tank in it's time, the T-61 is more reliable than the T-54 and other Soviet tanks. It has a reliable 18 cylinder diesel engine and it doesn't break down as much as the others. It can be easily fixed and can be used by any person with basic training about the tank.

-Mobility-
Even more mobile than the T-61 (P). It can do 65 Km/h with the limiter and 75 Km/h without. It can also do 30 Km/h reverse and it has a power-to-weight ratio of 25.11 hp/t. It also has a better suspension system.

-Tactics-
As stated in the T-61 (P) -
This tank is made for hull-down, this is because of the Siberian landscape where Auruna and Belka are located, mountainous, hilly, and forested. With the optics and the tank's effective firing range of 3.1km and the 105, 120, or the 122mm's maximum firing range of 16000m. And this tank is a deadly sniper. Move to a position where you can't be spotted but you can fire out of.

But in a fast and mobile war, the T-61A2 is the best choice because of it's high speed and fast traverse speed and turn rate. This can be used for hit-and-run tactics or simply use the circle of death technique. O just simply snipe from far away.

The armor is sacrificed for the mobility of the tank
The turret is large, making it a big target than the T-54, but it has better turret armor
Slightly worse at urban areas
