The Hansa-Brandenburg C.I was the workhorse of Austria-Hungary's KuK-Luftfahrtruppen. Serving in a variety of roles, nearly every Ausrto-Hungarian ace flew one at some point in their careers. Many would remain in service after the war with a number of Eastern European countries.
