Shadow Heavy Industry, Present:

Background

Neo Fourth Civil War
The SB-25 Orochi is a Heavy Strategic Bomber of the Neorasian Air Force, developed in late 2020 and making its first flight in the spring of 2023.
The SB-25 Orochi is operated by both the Neorasian Air Force and the People’s Army Air Service of Neorasia.

The SB-25 was deployed in combat during the Neorasian invasion of Yumemori Island, where 87 SB-25s were used to bomb Mizuharan military facilities, with 19 of them being shot down.

During the Battle of the Okinawa Sea, an SB-25 numbered 413 from the 217th Bomber Squadron successfully sank the Mizuharan helicopter carrier, MFS Hosho, using a TF-12 Peach Blossom bomb. The bomb struck Hosho’s bridge, splitting the ship in two and even launching Elevator No. 1 163 meters into the air.

The SB-25 was also deployed during the bombing of Kaisei Naval Arsenal carried out by the Neorasian Air Force. In this attack, the battleship MFS Hyuga was sunk by Neorasian bombers.

During the Siege of Hanako, 371 SB-25s were deployed to bomb Hanako City continuously from February 2026 to mid-March 2029. During the siege, an SB-25 numbered 326 from the 183rd Bomber Squadron was shot down and crash-landed in a city park in Sector B of Hanako City. The aircraft and its crew were secured by the Mizuharan Military Police before they could become the target of the local population’s rage.

At the end of the Neorasian Civil War, the remaining 18 SB-25s carried out a final bombing mission against Tangshan City, which had been recaptured by Mizuharan forces. The bombers were in poor condition, having been repaired hastily, and two units had to be abandoned mid-flight due to severe damage. After completing the bombing, the 16 remaining SB-25s were intercepted by Mizuharan Air Force interceptors, with only one bomber successfully returning to base.

After the Fourth Neorasian Civil War, it was confirmed that a total of 3,826 SB-25 Orochi bombers were produced by Neorasia. Out of these, 3,485 were shot down, and 341 were captured by Mizuhara. In 2045, Mizuhara resumed production of the SB-25 as part of the Eclipse Witch Program.

Nice, but why the hell would you use a prop bomber with turrets in 2020, this is more like a 1940s bomber
