Very large jet powered flying boat.

Standard flight controls.
VTOL Down: Flaps
Landing Gear: Retract Wingtip Floats
AG1: Arm Water Brakes
AG2: Landing Lights
AG8: Running Lights

The recommended takeoff configuration is to apply half flaps, and half nose up trim. Takeoff speeds are somewhat high, the hull doesn't really start to lift clear until around 180MPH, and the aircraft won't unstick until 240MPH. Once clear, reset trim to neutral, and retract the wingtip floats. Retract flaps at around 300MPH, and apply some nose down trim as needed.

Recommended landing configuration is full down flaps, full nose up trim, floats deployed, and between 15 to 30% throttle depending on glide slope. Approach speed should be around 180MPH. As you get close to the water, throttle back as needed to slow to around 160MPH. Flare as you get near the water, and you'll have a smooth landing. Use the water brakes once the main hull is settled in the water somewhat to slow down. These flap and trim settings with 30% throttle also will serve to keep the aircraft at a low speed level flight at around 190MPH.

So, built this after watching Mustard's video on the Saunders Roe Princess, and the mention of the larger jet powered flying boats also studied. So, I came up with this as a design in a similar sort of vein, and based off of the design language I had established with the earlier Atlas. So this rather large and heavy contraption is the result. The high takeoff speed is a bit disappointing, in hindsight I should've designed the Pegasus with a larger wing with more chord to it or something. Anyways, aside from that I am happy with this design. The cockpit channels the Boeing 747 a bit, along with the similarly set up Atlas. I'm also rather pleased with the way the engine glow on the engines came out, and the combined engines also make the noise made a bit more interesting. Hope you enjoy flying this!
