B-36 Peacemaker

150 MCPTAA  7.9 years ago

Designed by the US army in the late 40s, the B-36 'Peacemaker' was in service from 1949 to 1954. It was a large nuclear bomber - almost double as big a as a B-52! It has a strange combinitaion of piston engines and turbojets. Sadly, only 5 B-36s remain (in museums) - the rest were scrapped. Thank you for reading.
