LandingGear to emplace. VTOL and Trim to lay weapon.

The 105mm Howitzer M150 is a Paternian light field howitzer designed to replace the older M99 from the Paternia Wars. The M150's carriage is capable of elevation only, with traverse done through the use of base traverse. Capable of being disassembled into five major assemblies (carriage, sight unit, barrel, recoil assembly, and breech) and light enough to be transported by standard utility helicopter or towed by a jeep, the M150 provided airmobile units with a weapon more powerful than the earlier 75mm pack howitzers.

In Paternian service, they served from 1961 to 1987, when they were replaced by the M305 105mm lightweight field howitzer. The M150 remains in Paternian service with Army and Marine reserve units as well as in the Paternian Air Force's Guardian gunship program. Internationally the weapon remains in the service of several factions.

It has also found favor with non-state factions such as the GLA or Anarchist Front, due to its light weight, takedown construction, and high firepower. Some of their heavier trucks mount such a weapon, not unlike the M484. As the heaviest artillery piece in common GLA use, it is often referred to as the "Hammer of God."

    @Pilotmario (love your builds by the way) the g11 is not only not attachment ready it’s also extremely complex and not to mention it doesn’t fire a standard nato round like 5.55 or 7.62

    @YuukaNeko Conceptually, that is.

    It doesn't seem too hard to modify the exterior of the G11 to accept Picatinny rails. After all, the M16 wasn't designed to accept external attachments, except for perhaps a scope.

    With out current military's attachment-centric nature? Not a chance.

    @YuukaNeko That is true. Although if anything is to replace the M4, the closest thing that would qualify would be the HK G11.

    @Pilotmario There's no "perfect" weapon of war. Anything can be improved, given sufficient technological progress.

    @YuukaNeko Also, the M4 series is basically timeless. The M4 is basically an assault rifle perfected.

    @YuukaNeko Oh yes, we've got them covered.

    Matter of fact, I was going to release a few new trucks and then make a portable radio set, the AN/PRC-89 Wireless Field Telephone

    I hope you haven't given up on maintaining a state-of-the-art infantry? Your last firearm post was over two months ago.

    Pretty gud. I am happy to say the GLA didn't get far with these things though--we had CAS support. So we blew them to pieces once we "smelled" them.
