The N-2 was Developed in late 1935 as a replacement to the N-1 Biplane that entered service 2 years prior. It entered service in 1939 and had its first combat debut the same year in the Great Asian War against Ki-27s and A5Ms of the Nippon Imperial Airforce on the air battle at formosa and proved to be a worthy opponent in the air.
