Before I begin, I must apologize to those whom I hyped with that asym seaplane, and this not being it. I'm needing to heavily work on detailing on it, and my phone doesn't like the part count on it. Anyways, back to stuff;

The Blohm Und Voss P.540, designed during early-1943 as a medium bomber and/or ground attacker (Currently configured as latter), despite originally being intended for medium-long range reconnaissance. The contra-rotating engine pod carries two Daimler-Benz DB 632 engines, both having a added drive for the propellers. The main armorment configured for this P.540 is four MG 131's in the mid section of the wings, and one Mk 108 30mm cannon in the root near the passenger cabin, and carries three SC250 bombs. Unlike most every bomber (excluding the under development Arado 234), the P.540 has no defensive weapons, or turrets, meaning the bomber eould have to use it's speed to get away from incoming fighters.Between 44-45, two prototypes were built, and flown over Poland and eastern France to scout out troop positions marching to the German heartland. During that time, the crews reported about the delicate-ness of the plane, one pilit reportedly comparing it to "balancing on the head of a needle".The tedious job of flying, the expensive nature of parts, and with the extreme complexity of the plane, the two prototypes were destroyed alongside several Me 262 jets outside Berlin a week before the Soviets began their seige, along with most of the P.540's files.
