This is the 5th time i've written this so hopefully it works this time. The XP-50 was the marine version of the original, carrier based, skyrocket. On Wednesday,May 14,1941, the XP-50 took to the air for its maiden flight. shortly after takeoff, the XP-50 was shaken by an explosion in one of the turbo-superchargers and the engine burst into flames. The pilot escaped the stricken plane and it was destroyed when it impacted the ocean and sank. Because of this ,no operational XP-50s were ever deliverd.

I like it
@WhenGoatsFly I made one a few months a go with the American flag tail. It preforms badly but it looks cool.
I want to see someone make a different paint scheme for this. Or make a big, more scale one.Skyrocket fans might notice that the nocels and canopy aren't completely accurate. The tail is though... It took forever!🛩
