Version 1 of my Custom Nozzle Afterburner Engine
Version 2
Superseded by Version 3
Afterburner VFX are broken as of the VR update
A custom engine module free to use (with credit if you like) with custom engine nozzles that will contract when increasing thrust, but fully open when engaging afterburners.
Afterburner VFX courtesy of MIKEESE
Afterburner will only engage at 100% throttle and with AG1.
Detach the grey engine block and VTOL engine and place on your aircraft. Also make sure you have sufficient intakes.
Only detach and attach engine from the grey block.
Enjoy :)

Yeah lol I just saw that somewhere. Funny how things work out.
I downloaded them all since they're all different.
This one is waaayy simpler. I'm just here to reverse-engineer, mind. I prefer to do things in-house if I can help it. Easier to parse simpler designs, rather than things with FT down to the manufacturer's nameplate.
I probably could have saved myself like an hour if I had started this little journey knowing about throttle>1.
@Graingy simply put, it’s just a ring of VTOL nozzles. This is a very old design though, you should probably just stick with the V2 or V3 one lol.
If you’re interested, the VTOL nozzle effects will “separate” out if the VTOL engine’s input is greater than 1. This gives the Mach-diamond effect.
Oh great, the resource is gone. The mach ring link is deleted.
How does it work?
How is this made?
140 per turbine then I have a 400 part plane then I will lag at 600 but this is cool
Majority of the weight is in the baseplate. Remove that and it should be fine. @XPlane10ProFlier
Ok thank you @CheeseTruffles
Only use the grey coloured fuselage block in front of the engine to detach and attach to other things (move around). @Farm249
@CheeseTruffles what grey block do we detach the engine from and how I’m having troubles
My F4s use em :) @Grayfox06
Yo anyone make anything out of this?
cool pretty
Just wanted to write thank you for this engine. I am gonna to make a fighter with this thing!
Very cool!
I learned a lot from this engine.
Thank you very much!
There’s quite a lot going on inside @CookieCrumz
Glad you like it :D but your original afterburner is amazing. @MIKEESE
