History

SNS David A. Dexter was a frigate used by Silanesian Navy, this ship is also one of the oldest ship still used by Silanesian Navy.

SNS David A. Dexter was designed as Perusak 3101 (Destroyer 3101) in 1967, and planned to builded by Telnitsk Shipbuilding in 1969, but because Silanesian Reformation and Revolution in 1973, make the ship construction hampered and stuck at 63%. Then at the year of 1975, the ship construction finally continued, and the ship was completed in 1977, then SNS David A. Dexter entered the service with the Silanesian Navy at 1978, and placed at 2nd Striker Fleet. SNS David A. Dexter is the 5th Ship in Admiral Aznan Halim class.
Even though this ship already aged 46 years, David A. Dexter and her 2 sister always being modernized every 8 years. This ship planned to be operational until until the new Admiral Carl Peterson class entered service with Silanesian Navy at 2027

The name of the ship itself came from Silanesian Navy Air Force ace, LCDR. David Alexander "Genie" Dexter.

Operational History

1981-1995
SNS David A. Dexter participated in Fero-Silanesian War and being a part of Operation Tigris, Operation Morganite, Operation Zulfiqar, Operation Neptune, Operation Dagger, Operation Trident, and Operation Polaris.

2007-2022
SNS David A. Dexter being a part of Silanesian Force In Garadia during Garadian Emergency (Silanesian name for Garadian Civil War), involved in Operation Vulture, Operation Sirocco, Operation Fahrenheit, and Operation Emerald. This ship is also one of the ship that defending SNS Fort Marcello from Exocet missile attack during operation Fahrenheit.

-From 1978 to 1995, SNS David A. Dexter classification was destroyer, but as SNS David A. Dexter get modernized for the first time in 1996, David A. Dexter was reclassified to frigate, and her hull number also changed from 205 to 316.
