The TDB-3 was designed as an all purpose naval attack aircraft capable of dive bombing and torpedo bombing hostile ships. Foward firing guns are light, consisting of only 2 .50cal machine guns. Defensive guns however, are stronger. One 20MM cannon(AG7) controlled by the gunner/radio operator sticks out the back and provides cover for the vunerable 6' of the attacker. One naval torpedo is stored in an internal bomb bay(AG1) and four bombs are mounted to hardpoints on the wings.
