Boeing FA-XX (Laser)
This is an concept development of a sixth-generation fighter of the US Navy in the late-2000s.
Introducing the Boeing F/A-XX Sixth-Generation Fighter...
This aircraft has an interesting concept that would soon be added to conceptualized sixth-generation fighters that are being researched and developed by countries with the biggest pockets. One of these concepts is direct-energy weapons like lasers, particle beams and plasma cannons, which is something that came out of science fiction. So, I decided make that concept with this particular model where I modified a LANTIRN Pod (which can be found in some of my Super Hornets) to be capable of firing a laser weapon (which is just a rotary cannon with XML modifications).
This aircraft was a simple modification of Otana's F/A-XX to be mobile friendly and now, this model has a few new features.
New Features Includes:
1. New weapons bays for air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons with automatic working doors.
2. My very own AIM-120D AMRAAMs and AIM-9X Sidewinders in said weapons bays (select weapons to open the weapons bays).
3. A hydraulic piston for raising the main cockpit view when the landing gears are down.
4. I revised the landing gears and based it off the F/A-18 Hornet and the F-22 Raptor in my collection.
5. A new cockpit design that was ripped-off from the Otana's F/A-XX, but made with low quality engineering.
6. Added countermeasures to keep those pesky missiles from hitting you.
7. Added a new Fly-By-Wire system derived from my Super Hornet, which generated good artificial stability in-flight.
8. Also added a LANTIRN Pod on the weapons bay made by TheGreatOneinTF, with a direct energy laser weapon inside the pod.
I derived the Main Controls and Activation Groups from my Super Hornets:
A & D = Ailerons
W & S = Elevators
Q & E = Rudder
AG1 = Arrestor Hook
AG2 = Folding Wings
AG3 = Flaps Down
AG4 = Air Brake
AG7 = Retract The Catapult Launch Bar
AG8 = Master Arm and Activate AOA Limiter
VTOL Down = Locks the control surfaces into position
Trim = For Trim Controls
Landing Gear = Gears and Cockpit Raiser
Brake = Aerodynamic Deflection Rudders (may cause the aircraft to wobble sideways, but helps in making high-G maneuvers)

Note: The LANTIRN Pod with the laser weapon has an auto-locking feature, which is effective at a set distance, mostly at 3-4km away and is capable of disintegrating a target...
