Blast off and burn 50% of your fuel. Shut down your thrusters and when you slow to 5mph push your detacher buttom and drop the lower section of your rocket. Start rotating those detached sections so when they come back up they miss your ship. Now control your throtle and land your rocket back on the ground. It will take a few tries.
