SR-71 Blackbird
Well, it turns out the fastest machine ever built by man is not an easy thing to recreate in SP. But I did it, and here it is. The SR-71 Blackbird. I think I got the shape of it about just right, which I am rather proud of. It's very fast and fairly nimble. You'll need a lot of space to manuever, so you're better off going from Murphy to Tarpleyy than Murphy to Bandit. You'll also need a lot of runway to stop, because right now there does not appear to be a good way to build a drag chute at this scale. I'm also proud of the rear landing gear. Most Blackbirds I see on here don't bother figuring out the triple gear that I had no idea it had until today. To fly it, press one to drop and activate the VTOL engine and take off. Use the VTOL slider for trim. If you prefer realism over ease of flight, press one again to deactivate the VTOL engine. I hope you enjoy my model of the SR-71. Please let me know if there are any bugs in it and I'll try to iron them out. Have fun!
