FA-31D is a fictional fighter.It combines some appearance features of F14 and mig31.
The FA-31D is an American supersonic, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft.Its engine is based on jt8d.Its original design code was RIT-31.After winning the bidding, it was renamed as FA-31.It is mainly deployed in Alaska.It was mainly used to intercept Soviet supersonic / long-range bombers.The Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) pod system was added in the 1990s and the FA-31D began performing precision ground-attack missions.
