A violent fighter contemporary with WWII designs (no jets or explosives). While the Wyvern was a definite milestone in weapons development, it ultimately fell short of the diabolical ambition that fueled its creation. In an effort to create an even more unruly weapon, development continued, resulting in the monstrous Mad Wyvern. This short-range reaper carries the same VTOL-controlled forward gatling guns as the original Wyvern, but spreads the destruction even further with four additional guns mounted at the nose, which not only spread out as throttle increases, but rotate as the plane flies, spewing a cone of indiscriminate wreckage. An additional engine in the rear compensates for the extra weight, making the Mad Wyvern even more short-lived than its more even-tempered base model, but the capacity for destruction is a sight to behold.
