FW Ta-251 Falke
Focke-Wulf Ta-251 Falke
Manufacturer
Focke-Wulf
History
Kurt Tank's early war Fw-187 Falke project did not enter the service however Focke-Wulf company created yet another aircraft called "Falke" to create some interest for the Luftwaffe leaders.
Ta-251 Falke is a direct response to the allied day-night high altitude bombing missions.
Equipped with Junker Jumo 004D Engine that provides excellent climb rate & level flight top speed, Falke is the formidable choice for any Day-Night high altitude interception mission.
Falke has excellent firepower thanks to Rheinmetall-Borsig MK 103 & MG 151/20 cannons and X-4 Ruhrstahl Missiles.
Schräge Musik system helps the plane engaging bomber formation from safe distances.
FuG 220 radar provides excellent all-weather intercepting & tracking capability to the aircraft.
Falke has some flaws like any other aircraft manufactured during that time. Falke is unable to do full roll at speeds below 400kph & stalls at 350kph or lower speeds.
A large swept-wing significantly reduces energy on turning.
Falke is best used for "Boom & Zoom" tactics.

Special Thanks to :
@BigChunguss for the Landing gear.
@BogdanX for the FT driven speed reducer (Special Airbrake helps the plane loose speed on turns)
Have fun !

Wow. The Ruhrstahl X-4 missiles are so beautifully done! I never thought it would be possible in SimplePlanes, but you made it happen!
P.S. The X-4s are much easier to control with a missile camera.
@MAHADI I tried to built custom wings but I didn't have enough time, Also I hope you liked my Ruhrstahl Missiles.Thanks for the rating results
btw, you should have made aesthetic flaps and ailerons (I mean custom flaps and ailerons). they would have increased you scores.
Nice work on the missiles!

@BigChunguss )))))))
@ChrisPy Missiles does not have a camera for realism.
Also Schrage is best used from cockpit view. I didn't plan to make them move.
Um there are no cameras on the missiles so how do I aim them? Also why doesn’t the schrage not move?
